Our client offers international casual dining and we are recruiting an experienced Executive Chef to join their operations in Muscat, Oman and be responsible for the direction and coordination of all food preparation and presentation in the kitchens.
Responsible for recipe and menu development, menu reengineering, overseeing food culinary activities and food preparation, ensuring all food safety standards are adhered to and managing food and labor costs.
Essential Skills & Experience Required
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an executive chef or head chef in Gulf region casual dining restaurants with experience of designing restaurant menus based on available seasonal foods and estimated business.
Strong administration, operations, purchasing and financial control experience of the culinary areas with proven ability in improving quality and profit and minimizing waste and breakages.
Proficient use of MS Office, PoS and restaurant food software systems.
Degree from a recognized culinary institution
Aged between 30 – 35 years.
Available to join immediately and relocate to Muscat, Oman.
Fluent in English – must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills with a dynamic and outgoing personality.
