Our client is a well-established corporate and private events organisation based in Dubai and we are recruiting an experienced events sales manager to join their expanding team for a newly created role to focus on managing the sales process focusing on achieving goals and working with the team to proactively source and manage new business opportunities through lead generation and client relationship management across the GCC and oversee account management activities.
Proactively manage new business opportunities and oversee the entire sales process from client enquiries to pitches, negotiating terms and closing the opportunity.
Participate in marketing activities to increase brand awareness and gain new clients and attend trade and public events for networking and to secure new business opportunities to create a pipeline of sales opportunities.
Essential Skills & Experience Required
8 – 12 years’ experience in UAE events sales / business development management with a strong background in increasing revenue and client engagement through lead generation and account management and managing a team of account executives.
Strong team leadership skills with demonstrable experience in managing sales processes and revenue achievement through identifying gaps and areas of improvement.
Financial management of budgets, sales forecasts and revenue.
Proficient use of a CRM system.
UAE driving license is mandatory.
Bachelor’s Degree is preferable.
Fluent in English – must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
Currently living in the UAE.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior decision makers.
Able to travel freely without any visa restrictions.
