Our client is a personal care products distributor representing an world-famous international brand with a strong presence in the African region and we are recruiting an experienced key account manager from the FMCG / consumer goods industry to join their Dubai operations. The role will focus on travelling extensively throughout North and East Africa to manage country-wide retail accounts to grow the partnership with national retailers.
Manage retail accounts and deal with issues related to stock, merchandising materials and distribution.
Work with clients to promote a high SKU level across all product ranges.
Assist with new product launches.
Prepare management reports based on retailer information and maintain an accurate and updated CRM system.
Essential Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 5 years’ experience in FMCG / consumer goods wholesale and trade marketing with the ability to manage accounts autonomously.
Strong administration and communication skills to liaise with clients.
African driving license is mandatory.
Diploma as a minimum
African national – preference will be given to candidates from Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.
Strong commercial aptitude, self-motivated and results driven.
Fluent in English and African languages.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
