Our client is a rapidly expanding local hotel brand and as part of their growth strategy we are recruiting an experienced Head of Learning & Talent Development to join their Corporate team in Dubai. The role will focus on leading and supporting the talent review process, coaching, leadership development to ensure a strong pipeline of future leaders is in place to support the brand’s growth plans in the region.
Develop the learning and talent development strategy and metrics, conduct talent development gap analysis, talent calibration and succession planning and talent identification to deliver the development of management and leadership capabilities.
Identify learning solutions and establish learning objects that are in line with the organisation’s objectives.
Design, deliver and manage career development and high potential management programs to build organisational capability.
Support the design, development and delivery of candidate assessment processes.
Source and manage external training vendors and manage budgets whilst determining the ROI.
Drive continuous improvement of the organisation’s learning and talent and performance management practices, systems, process and tools.
Essential Skills & Experience Required
10 – 15 years’ experience in progressively challenging learning and talent development roles in the luxury hospitality industry with a strong track record in leading building organisational capability and leadership initiatives and programs and soft skills development.
Ability to build strong relationships to support career aspirations and identify development needs.
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory
Strong presentation and public speaking abilities and the ability to influence stakeholders and face resistance to change within multi-national groups.
Currently living in the United Arab Emirates.
Fluent in English – must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
