Our client is a 25-employee strong privately-owned contracting engineering organisation with a multi-million Dirham revenue turnover based in Dubai and due to the tremendous growth they have experienced in the last few years, we are recruiting a UAE experienced HR Manager, reporting to the business owner, to develop and lead the Human Resources department.
Development of the HR strategy in conjunction with the leadership team.
Develop, implement and manage HR policies, procedures, systems and frameworks.
Overall management of recruitment for the organization including first line recruitment and providing a short-list to the line managers.
Provide operational HR support to function heads and line management for all activities related to HR including recruitment and retention, employee relations, performance and absence management, compensation and benefits, on-boarding and training, employee accommodation and welfare.
Development and implementation of compensation, benefits and rewards policies.
Management reporting and HRIS management.
Development and implementation of a probationary and onboarding program.
Development, implementation and management of annual performance reviews.
Essential Skills & Experience Required
7 – 10 years’ experience in Human Resources with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in an HR generalist role in the UAE working in a contracting engineering related industry developing and managing HR policies & procedures.
Excellent working knowledge of UAE labor laws.
Ability to manage and resolve complex HR issues.
Ability to coach and mentor line and operations managers.
Degree in Human Resources
Currently living in the UAE aged between 30 – 35 years.
Fluency in English – must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
Fluent in spoken Hindi.
