Our client is a privately owned fast-growing multi-disciplined design and building company in the UAE and we are recruiting a Business Development Manager to join their rapidly expanding commercial, hospitality and corporate interior design and fit out organization based in Dubai to increase annual revenue, maintain and expand the customer base and win new sales opportunities.
Liaise with MEP contractors, consultants and architects to generate new leads, prospect and source new clients and develop a strong sales pipeline for commercial and industrial interior office, retail, hospitality fitout solutions to increase revenue and market share.
Preparation and presentation of client pitches, sales proposals, RFQs and RFPs and sales forecasting.
Working closely with the project team and liaising with the client until contract handover.
Essential Skills & Experience Required
7 – 10 years’ similar experience and currently working in business development / sales in the UAE in high end turnkey commercial, hospitality and corporate interior fit out contracting or design and build with strong technical awareness of commercial interior products, fit out and joinery works valued at a minimum of AED 100,000.
Strong background in cold / warm calling, industry networking and referral marketing and worked in a high revenue client acquisition role in the UAE with a proven career in achieving and exceeding sales targets and ability to build a robust pipeline of business leads.
Strong commercial and financial acumen with effective negotiation skills.
UAE driving license is mandatory.
Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
Must be living in the UAE.
Fluent in English - must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
