Our client is a well-established retail mall and as part of their growing success we are recruiting a UAE experienced architect who has experience of retail delivery fit out project management to focus on the pre-qualification, planning, execution and delivery of large-scale retail and F&B outlets and restaurants projects.
Lead the project specifications and plans including defining the scope of work, budgeting and costing, preparing BOQs, supervising the tendering process, timescales and milestones scheduling and selection of contractors, approve work plans, tenant fit out completion and initiate and manage corrective action plans based on site visits.
Resource management related to materials, equipment and manpower.
Manage tenant relationships, mitigating risks and dealing with disputes and claims.
Essential Skills & Experience Required
5 years’ experience in MEP commercial interior fit out project management with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in retail fit out and joinery MEP project management a well reputed contractor focusing on design, reviewing shop drawings and plans for store layouts, client meetings and reporting, site management of sub-contractors and site personnel.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with proficiency in estimating, cost management, contract administration, safety management and quality management.
Working knowledge of FIDIC and AutoCAD with the ability to read shop drawings, electrical and plumbing schematics and blueprints.
Strong commercial and financial acumen and excellent technical writing skills.
BSc in Architecture or Master’s Degree in Architecture
Formal PMP qualifications
Currently living in the UAE and able to live and work in Abu Dhabi.
Fluent in English – must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
