Our client is a rapidly expanding FMCG manufacturer, distributor and retailer with a strong presence in the MENA region and we are recruiting a senior level supply chain professional based in Sharjah to build and implement a robust supply chain infrastructure for their manufacturing, distribution, retail and e-commerce divisions focusing on systems, processes, technology and ERP, demand planning, .product management, vendor relationship management, last mile delivery and 3PL contracts.
Develop and execute a supply chain management strategy to increase supply and inventory efficiency and optimization more cost-effectively to improve profits focusing on sourcing, inventory management, demand planning and management, replenishment planning, distribution and 3PL logistics.
Build a high-performance supply chain department and establish performance targets.
Essential Skills & Experience Required
12+ years supply chain management with demonstratable experience in designing and building a supply chain department, team, processes and systems with a focus on S&OP, 3PL logistics, transportation and distribution and supply and demand planning and management in a world-class FMCG or retail organisation in the Middle East.
Project managing the implementation of a Oracle ERP and supply chain technology platform.
Strong commercial and financial acumen with P&L responsibility.
Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
CSCP is mandatory.
LEAN operational excellence or Black Belt Sigma certification are an advantage.
Currently living in the Gulf region.
Fluency in English – must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
